In the afternoon, I saw a phone at school.

Tā zài yǐzi shàng, pángbiān méiyǒu rén.
It was on a chair, with nobody nearby.
这是谁的手机呢？
Zhè shì shéi/shuí de shǒujī ne?
Whose phone was it?
我拿着它在那儿等。
Wǒ ná zhe tā zài nàr děng.
I held it and waited there.
一个小时后，手机唱了歌！
Yī gè xiǎoshí hòu, shǒujī chàng le gē!
An hour later, the phone sang a tune!
我说：喂，你是哪位？
Wǒ shuō: wèi, nǐ shì nǎ wèi?
I said: hello, who is this?
是一位女士，手机是她的。
Shì yī wèi nǚshì, shǒujī shì tā de.
It was a lady; the phone was hers.
她来了，手机回到她手里。
Tā lái le, shǒujī huí dào tā shǒu lǐ.
She came, and the phone went back into her hand.
她说了很多个谢谢。
Tā shuō le hěn duō gè xièxie.
She said many thanks.
我也很高兴。
Wǒ yě hěn gāoxìng.
I was very happy too.
