Some sold fish, and some sold meat.
妈妈买了一条鱼。
Māma mǎi le yī tiáo yú.
Mom bought a fish.
我要吃鸡蛋，妈妈买了十个。
Wǒ yào chī jīdàn, māma mǎi le shí gè.
I wanted eggs, so Mom bought ten.
我们还买了红色的苹果。
Wǒmen hái mǎi le hóngsè de píngguǒ.
We also bought red apples.
苹果不贵，六块一个。
Píngguǒ bù guì, liù kuài yī gè.
The apples were cheap, six yuan each.
东西太多了，妈妈拿不了。
Dōngxi tài duō le, māma ná bù le.
There was too much; Mom could not carry it all.
我说：我能拿两个苹果。
Wǒ shuō: wǒ néng ná liǎng gè píngguǒ.
I said: I can carry two apples.
回到家，我很累，也很高兴。
Huí dào jiā, wǒ hěn lèi, yě hěn gāoxìng.
Back home, I was tired but happy.
